News from the Dogs Trust
Today, I got news in from the Dogs Trust updating me on the two dogs I sponsor. I was delighted to hear that Arnie who lives at the Glasgow centre is in for some Christmas treats. Isn’t he a handsome chap?
Here's a look at what Arnie gets up to - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nm_WbbGKeXU
I also sponsor Phil at the Shoreham Centre. Here he is –
The brilliant news about Phil, is that he is now ready to be re-homed. he may even have got a new home already. Fingers crossed.

I almost saw a dog getting knocked down today...
Today, I was out with Benjy and my partner, when a dog called Baxter sprinted from the beach and ran across the road. We couldn't see what happened next because our view was obscured by cars, but all we heard was a loud bang and a yelp.
Whilst I stayed with Benjy, John ran towards the road fully expecting Baxter to be lying dead on the road, but thankfully he was okay and ran back across the road to his owner. We suspect he must have been hit a glancing blow, but because he was so small (he's a Cairn terier) he must have avoided being run over.
Baxter was checked by his owner and thankfully was fine. But this really shook us all up.
